Global ImageWorks exclusively represents unique aftermath footage of the NYC construction crane collapse that occurred on Saturday, March 16. Footage was taken from street level right in front of the accident site on 2nd Avenue between 50 and 51st Street. The footage shows: emergency workers searching for survivors trapped underneath the debris of the building collapse; overhead shots from the 12th floor of a neighboring balcony looking down at rescue efforts just before one of the firefighters was hit by falling debris; ground level shots of the injured firefighter being removed on a stretcher; and footage of the last survivor being pulled from under the collapsed building after he was trapped for over three hours. Although his legs were trapped, firefighters were able to successfully rescue him. There are also shots of a car turned on its side to get it out of the way of emergency workers turning off gas mains as well as various other views of the area and damage.
