GLOBAL IMAGEWORKS ACQUIRES EXTENSIVE NEW ORLEANS/HURRICANE KATRINA FOOTAGE

Global ImageWorks has acquired over 20 hours of outstanding New Orleans footage shot in 2004. This footage captures the pulse of “The Big Easy” covering all the main historical sites and sounds and lifestyles of this wonderful city including Mardi Gras in 2004. It also includes interviews with local people, politicians and visitors. Performance and interview footage of many musicians representing various genres throughout Louisiana and the Delta (Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans R&B, New Orleans Jazz, Swamp Pop) is also available.
In addition, the company has acquired extremely dramatic footage shot during Hurricane Katrina and incredible aftermath scenes of the catastrophic devastation in New Orleans' Ninth Ward.
