GLOBAL IMAGEWORKS LICENSES MATERIAL AND MANAGES RESEARCH FOR GRIPPING NEW
BILL COUTURIE DOCUMENTARY INTO THE FIRE

Global ImageWorks was a major supplier of footage from its extensive collection of fire and rescue footage in the gripping new documentary Into The Fire, produced by The Firemen's Fund and directed by Academy Award winning director, Bill Couturie. Into The Fire, which tells the personal stories of fire service workers, airs on The History Channel October 13 and 22. GIW's Research and Clearance Division was responsible for all film research and licensing for archival materials used in Into The Fire. Featuring music by Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Dire Straits, the documentary is meant to inspire Americans to support firefighters in their own community. Profits from the film will be used to provide fire departments across the country with needed equipment, training and community education programs. Global ImageWorks represents several independent filmmakers from across the United States who have extraordinary access to fire fighting which includes footage from the 1970s up through the present.
