StormchaserJim Edds was featured on Geraldo At Large August 26, 2007 and showcased his footage from Hurricanes Dean, Katrina and Charley. Jim Edds is also an accomplished underwater photographer and has been published in over 30 magazines worldwide and recently produced the commercially successful “Extreme Storms – Nature At Her Worst.” While shooting in Jamaica, he was the only cameraman to shoot the massive fire that gutted the 300 room Pegasus Hotel in Kingston.
Jim is now shooting in Hi Definition and has the capability of filming and transmitting his footage anywhere in the world even if the local power grid goes down. He can move fast and get to areas where the media won't go. One of the few reporters in Kingston area of Jamaica, he fed footage from recent Hurricane Dean up to Global ImageWorks which was provided for broadcast to CNN and ABC Good Morning America.
